Back to work

On Wednesday night everything seemed to go back to normal, back to before I got the kittens, Orangecat and Blackcat were playing together again. I never actually got a picture of it since they blur loads, but I did get one of Orangecat pretending he's a kitten or something, Blackcat just likes to pretend he has no arms and legs and sit there in his full fluffy glory. My boyfriend came over a couple of hours earlier than we'd planned which was nice, he loved his cakes but seemed way more interested in the cats, though to be fair, that was expected. 

Jessie and James spent most of the weekend in the radiator bed together and somehow manage to play in it without breaking it, or falling out which is rather impressive. They were so energetic for no reason, just running around the whole time and playing. I have this cool little usb glitter lamp thing that I have plugged into my laptop and they love the lights on the wall, its like a slow laser pointer and they find it awesome, I like watching them cos they have these super cool reflective collars that glitter and shine when any kind of light hits them, not just in the dark. They come in amazing colours too and they're from KittyCollars.co.uk and to make it better they have those safe snap fastener things too!

When Orangecat and Blackcat weren't playing they were either cuddling or playing on my boyfriends laptop. They got quite upset, because of Blackcats new found condition he isn't allowed anything other than his special cat food, we ordered pizza and before we'd always share it with them but obviously couldn't give anyone any since it would be unfair. I didn't realise how big 15inch pizzas were, usually we get this deal where you get two 10inch pizzas and 2 portions of chips, but instead we got two 15inch pizzas and omg it was unreal, we didn't even get through one in the night. Though it did save us having to make anything for Friday's dinner! Then on Saturday we went to the Chinese, so we ate super healthily the whole time he was here. It started snowing Saturday night, it was super cold and gross and it just didn't seem to stop, this morning there was snow everywhere, like 6 inches of it or something and I had to go back to work and walk all the way there, it was vile and I hate it. The cats seem to have a different opinion though, they just spend the day sat on the window ledge staring at it. I felt bad because Jessie and James have never seen snow before and I wanted to let them play in it, but Blackcats not allowed outside until he's completely better and it's mean to let everyone but him out. I had to go to work anyway so I couldn't play with them like I would have wanted to.

James always sleeps with his feet up past his head, obviously he's not sleeping there but he sits like it too, it's so weird, like why can't he just sleep with his legs in a normal position? This morning when he was getting fed he was so excited to be fed that he just threw all his food all over the floor, Jessie and Orangecat didn't care though, they just carried on eating, it's pretty funny that he was just picking his food up with his front paws to eat it, he's such a weird cat. I miss having pictures of all 4 cats eating together, but Blackcat needs to have medication put in his food and water added so that he gets enough so for now that won't be happening.

I got in from work, had my dinner then went upstairs to find Jessie, James and Orangecat playing on the cat tree, but not how they normally do, nobody has sat in that top triangle in about 2 years, it never ever gets used, but Jessie was sat in there seeking refuge from James and Orangecat who were trying to get her for some reason. I'm not sure how well it will cope with Orangecat sitting up there though, he's a pretty big lad, and it's wobbly enough as it is. Blackcat has just spent the whole evening asleep on my pillow, he literally hasn't moved while I've been writing this, and it's taken ages because I've been watching ace of cakes too. I love ace of cakes. I love my cats more though.
